On May 19, 2023, Digital Driven Chemical Industry Operation Excellence Forum-Huizhou was successfully held. The forum was hosted by China Chemical Industry Economic and Technology Development Center (Petroleum and Chemical Industry Intelligent Manufacturing Think Tank), organized by Shanghai Isogong Tongzhi Information Technology Co. The conference attracted about 150 participants from the industry nationwide.
The conference started with welcome speeches by the secretary general of Huizhou Petrochemical Association and the leaders of Petrochemical Federation Think Tank, speeches by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Petrochemical Federation Think Tank, CNOOC, Inroad, Tencent, and Kingdee’s digital experts of petrochemical industry, and thematic discussions.
“The digital construction of enterprises should focus on considering data-driven operations, breaking data barriers, deep integration of management and information systems, addressing the major transformation from offline to online, monolithic to collaborative, and digital to intelligent, promoting production and operation efficiency, helping to reduce costs and increase efficiency, and allowing digitalization to effectively drive chemical enterprises’ operational excellence.” At the forum, the experts reached a consensus.
Representatives from Sinopec Group, China National Offshore Oil Group, Wanhua Chemical Group Corporation, Arkema (China) Investment Co., Evonik (Shanghai) Investment Management Co., and BASF (China) Co. shared their experiences in the development of enterprise digitization, informatization and intelligence at the forum.
